I am a writer and social media strategist based in Minneapolis, MN. I am a high imagery and confessional writer in both aspects of my creative work. I use a pop culture lens to highlight themes of gender, sexuality, mental health, and “growing up”.
Though my writing grew up in alternative poetry circles I have more recently turned an eye to music journalism, even co-creating a music based zine with visual artist El Horsfall back in November of 2018. My music blog, ‘I’m Listening’ has grown since then and can be summed up as interviews, critiques, and reviews by a queer with a sensitive ear. I believe cultural critique is necessary for good art to thrive and am currently available as a contributor.
My writing has appeared in Peach Magazine, Secret Meeting, Slumber Mag, and Hooligan Magazine (just to name a few).
